HIPPO pots are made of recyclable fabrics in double layer construction comprising of an outer layer which is made of knitted breathable HDPE fabric and the inner layer is made of waterproof polyester fabric.
The inner layer provides water conservation for the plant, whereas the outer layer being knitted allows the plant to remain cool via air circulation and and adds UV protection, durability and aesthetic value to the pot.
The biggest advantage of the planter bags are that they are non breakable, this property makes them very useful in areas prone to damage from monkeys or high winds.
The inner polyester waterproof fabric does a little bit water to drain out from stitch holes but retains majority of the water. The pots have double hemmed top lip which adds stability to the structure. The water conserving nature of the pot makes it ideal for areas with a hot and dry weather so that maximum water an be retained in the pot.
The Pots can be used with or without a bottom tray.
